Probably the best artist of 2007, Amy Winehouse's life story reads like a tragedy awaiting to happen. If death is the chosen life destiny, then she is speedily heading in that direction. Such amazing talent normally doesn't stick around, but leaves a legend of "What if," that sinks through generations of music lovers as they reflect on music throughout the years. With lean sexy body curved in the right places and a mop of jet black hair and fake eyelashes, Amy appears like a beautiful flower stuck in a thorn. Her song titles are as dark and expletive as the direction of her life. Songs like "Rehab," "You no I'm no Good," "Love is a Losing Game," "Back to Black," and "Valerie," paints the perfect picture of her life experience. Yet with her strong raspy vocals she has turned each of them into an instant hit.
I vote Amy Winehouse the best new artist of 2007. Oh and did I mention wine?
